How do the outlet stores work?
JPO retailers sell leftover stock from past seasons, while some items were exclusively made by the brands for their outlet stores.
Store managers said that some signature products are unavailable because they are outlet shops, meaning the latest designs will not be available here.
The best times to visit this place are during the festive holidays like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, or Christmas because there would be even more discounts and promotions.
Built at the cost of RM150 million (US$47 million), the Factory Outlet occupies a total area of 44 acres and is situated in the middle of an oil palm plantation.
The Johor Premium Outlets project is under the Genting Simon group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Simon Genting Ltd, which in turn is a 50:50 joint venture between Genting Plantation's Azzon Ltd and Premium Outlets, the outlet division of Simon Property Group.
